District : Feldbach

Auersbach.jpg

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on November 15th, 1993.

The wavy bar represents a small river running through the municipality. The wheat-ear and the tinctures of the arms were taken from the coat of arms borne by the local lords of the manor in the Middle Ages. The chevron, together with the bar, undertakes to symbolise the first letter of the name of the municipality.
