AUKRA

Province : Møre og Romsdal

Arms (crest) of Aukra
Official blazon
Norwegian

På blå grunn to gull ringar, 1-1.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 22, 1987.

The arms show two bronze-age rings, based on an archaeological finding in the area. The rings thus symbolise the long tradition of habitation in the area.
