Escudo partido: Primer cuartel: En Campo de gules y en abismo, un cantarillo agujereado, de su color, conservando agua en su interior, cuya boca mira al jefe del escudo. Segundo cuartel: En campo de oro, dos sables cruzados, de su color, unidos por una cinta de gules que forma un lazo, de la que pende un águila de sable atada por sus garras, todo ello surmontado por una corona de laurel de sinople y rodeado por una cinta ondeada de plata, con la divisa en letras de sable: «Bailén, 19 de julio de 1808». Contorno francés y timbre de corona mural, propia de la Ciudad.
