Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on March 17, 2015.

The arms show the thre etowers from the arms of Deux-Sèvres and three lion head from the arms of the De Chambres family, former lords of the village. The hoes refer to the clearing of the forest and thus the foundation of the village.
