BERMBACH

State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Rheingau-Taunus Kreis (until 1975 Usingen)
Incorporated into : 1972 Waldems

Origin/meaning :
The arms were proposed in 1956; I have no idea whether the arms were actually adopted.

The arms are based on the old seal of the village, known since 1843. The meaning of the deer is not clear, most likely it simply symbolises the forests and deer in the municipality.

Literature : Hessisches Wappenbuch, 1956
