D'or au vergne de sinople posé sur un tertre de sable et surmonté d'un lion léopardé de gueules armé, lampassé et couronné d'azur.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on November 26, 2015.

The alder tree is a canting element (vergne is the local word for alder). The lion refers to the Bigonne region, in which the village is situated. The black hill, refers to the ancient tradition on charcoal making in the village.
