Origin/meaning

The red field and the stars are taken from the arms of the Terrat family, Lords of the village in the 17th century. The family also established a small hospital in the village.

The merle is taken from the arms of the Beauvilliers family, Lords of Binas from the 10th until the 15th century. The eagle is taken from the arms of Sulpice d'Ouer, Lord of the village in the 15th century and benefactor to the village.
