Origin/meaning
The chevron refers to the geographical location of the commune as a wedge shape. The battlements symbolize the borders with Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea. The gold color of the cocoa pod and coffee beans on a green (forest) background symbolizes wealth. Coffee and cocoa are main crops of the area.
