Origin/meaning
The arms were proposed in 1994 and adopted in 2002.
The lion is taken from the arms of the larst Lords of Boubers, from the Berghes(-Saint-Winoc) family. The estate and village was given to Philippe-Ignace de Berghes in 1702 and the family owned the village until 1792.
The three small shields are taken from the arms of the Boubers family, mentioned in the 14th century.
