  • (fr) De gueules à la licorne saillante, ailée d'argent, accornée et onglée d'or, accompagnée en pointe d'un écusson d'argent à la croix pattée et alésée de gueules.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on April 14, 2011.

The winged unicorn has been used for a longer period by the municipality, it's origin is not known. The unicorn's is facing upwards as a canting element, Cornehotte means high horn.

The small shield in base refers to the commandery of the Order of the Templars in the hamlet of the Grand Bellinval in the municipality.
