Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 2013.

The stone symbolises the large stone (a local landmark) in the municipality, showing the year of the foundation of the village (1788).

The hill symbolises the -berg (mountain) part of the name, the wavy bar the Ohe river. The oaks indicate that oaks are typical for the local landscape.
