In Silber auf grünem Schildfuß nebeneinander zwei grüne Laubbäume mit braunen Stämmen und Astwerk (Eichen), vor denen ein herschauernder Löwe ruht.

Origin/meaning

It is not known when the arms were first used. The oldest use dates from the 16th century and shows either a resting lion, or a walking leopard. Later the arms only show a lion. The trees have been shown historically and oak trees, but in the 19th century the trees were often shown as pine trees (see image below).

The meaning of the composition is not known.
