Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 14, 2012.

The blue symbolizes the snow tundra, the green the taiga, which covers the territory of the region in abundance.

The two silver mountain peaks symbolize the two largest mountain ranges of Kamchatka, which are mostly located in the territory of the Bystrinsky district. The trees refer to the large forests.

The golden reindeer is a symbol for reindeer breeding, the main source of life for the indigenous population of the region.

Before the region used sometimes the image below, which was never approved officially.
