On a silver gray disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border, 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in diameter overall the silver gray head of a Spartan warrior in profile wearing a white helmet garnished red, detailed black between the inscription “CENTRAL DAVIDSON” arcing above and “HIGH SCHOOL” arcing below in black letters.

Origin/meaning

Black, silver gray and red are the school colors. The Spartan is the school mascot. The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 29 July 1996.
