CHABREY

Canton : Vaud
Incorporated into: 2011 Vully-les-Lacs

Armoiries de Chabrey

Official blazon

De gueules à la bande d'argent chargée d'un blaireau au naturel.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 1929.

The arms with a badger are based on the nickname of the villagers at the time. I have no information why they were called badgers.

Wappen von/Blason de Chabrey
