CHEMINOT

Département : Moselle

Blason de Cheminot

Official blason

Chevronné d’or et d’azur de huit pièces, à l’aigle d’argent brochant sur le tout.

Origin/meaning

The chevrons are taken from the arms of the Saulnois territory, to which the village historically belonged. The eagle is taken from the arms of the Saint Arnould Abbey in Metz, to which the village was given in the 9th century.
