  • (fr) D'azur à la bande d'or chargée de trois têtards couronnés de gueules, accompagnée en chef de la tour du lieu d'argent et en pointe de trois monts d'argent rangés en fasce et brochant l'un sur l'autre.

Origin/meaning

The arms show a bend with three tadpoles, the nickname of the villagers. I have no idea of the origin of the name. The tower is the pigeon house of the local priory and the three rocks are the Combes de la Cazine rocks, a typical and protected landmark in the municipality.
