COUTARNOUX

Département : Yonne

Blason de Coutarnoux/Arms (crest) of Coutarnoux
Official blazon
French blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 2006.

The castle represents the Goix mansion in the village, a national monument. The linden leaf and tree refer to the tree planted in 1640 near the entrance of the local church. The oak leaf is taken from the arms of the Goix family.
