Official blazon

Von Silber nach Rot geteilt; oben ein wachsender gold bewehrter roter Adler, unten drei (2 : 1) schrägrechts gestellte silberne Hämmer.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 6, 1976.

The upper part of the arms shows the eagle taken from the Lordship Kronenburg, the lower part is taken from the arms of Schmidtheim and represents the iron-industry in the area.
