Official blazon
Swedish En silverspets i rött fält med en chef av silver, belagd med tre röda rosor.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1916.

The arms are based on those of the Banér Family, which for 300 years owned the Estate Djursholm around which the city developed. The chief with roses was added to symbolise Djursholm as a Garden City.

Literature: Nevéus and de Waern, 1992
