English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on May 31, 2012.

The falcon holding a ring is taken from the crest of the arms of the Jastrzębiec family, former owners of the area. The silver bar refers to the Bug river. The color of the shield and the Bug river refer to the Belz principality, symbolizing its division by the state border, including the correction of the Polish border with the USSR made in 1951, when Bełz was joined to the Ukrainian SSR.
