Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in August 2009.

The upper part shows a tool used to cut wood for the manufacture of casks, for which the village was famous. The green point refers to the Puyconnieux hill in the municipality, the chestnut refers to the many chestnut trees in the municipality.
