EML TASUJA (A432), ESTONIAN NAVY

History: Formerly Lindormen of the Danish Navy to Estonia in 2006. Withdrawn from service 1 November 2016.

Leegilõkeliselt põigiti poolitatud must-kuldsel kilbil ülessuunatud teraga hõbedane mõõk. Kilp on asetatud punasele ringile, mida väljastpoolt timbritseb kuldne laevaköis.
Ringi kroonib Neptuni kuldne kolmikhark. ringil on kuldsete tähtedega laeva nimi TASUJA ning laeva vapikiri MORE MAIORUM - esivanemate kombel.

Origin/meaning

The Sword symbolizes the namesake Tasjua a semi-historical Person a hero of the Estonian Struggle for Freedom in the 13th Century. It also alludes to the role played by the first ship
named Tasuja in the Estonian War of Independence 1918-1920. The Motto translates as "As our forefathers". The badge was created by Mr Priit Herodes in 2006.
