Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 17, 2002.

The bell refers to one of the bells in the local church, dating from 1472 and thus being one of the oldest bells in the region. The linden branches refer to the many linden in the village and the wavy bar in the base refers to the Nesse river.
