EBERHOLZEN
State : Niedersachsen
District (Kreis) : Hildesheim (until 1978 Alfeld)
Samtgemeinde : Samtgemeinde Sibbesse
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 30, 1938.
In the village there is the so-called Scheidebrunnen, a spring (fountain). People visited the spring to pray for faithfulness until the death. This is symbolised by the two rings on a blue bar.
