Escudo de prata, uma barra ondada de azul e prata de três tiras acompanhada de uma roda de azenha de vermelho e de uma anta arqueológica de negro, realçada de prata. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas : “ ESMERIZ – VILA NOVA DE FAMALICÃO “.
