Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: A shield blazoned: Per bend sinister Sanguine and Argent a bendlet sinister counterchanged, between two wildcat prints counterchanged of the field. Attached above the shield a White scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Maroon border and inscribed “FMRHS” in Maroon letters, the overall dimensions are 2 7/8 inches (7.30 cm) in height by 2 1/8 inches (5.40 cm) in width.
Origin/meaning
Maroon and white are the school colors. The paw prints suggest the wildcat, the school mascot, and imply the cadets’ dedication to school, community and country. The counterchanged shield symbolizes the school’s advancements in education to effect transitions for the future.
The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia was approved on 30 March 2000.
