FALLINGBOSTEL (FAL)

State : Niedersachsen
Incorporated into: 1977 Soltau-Fallingbostel

Wappen von Fallingbostel (kreis)/Arms (crest) of Fallingbostel (kreis)
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on August 13, 1928.

The arms show a prehistoric grave or Hun's bed (see also Aschendorf-Hümmling). On the moors in the district seven of these graves can be found. The green symbolises the moors and heathlands.

Literature: Stadler, 1964-1971, 8 volumes.
