Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on July 15, 1985.

The buckles are taken from the arms of the Malet de Graville family, former lords of the village. The blue bend is the Fontaine river, the leopards are taken from the arms of Normandy. The wheatears refer to the agricultural character of the area.
