Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a yellow horizontal rectangle arched at top and bottom and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border a gray bulldog head detailed blue, eyed red, collared blue with gray spikes. Attached above and below the rectangle are yellow scrolls edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue borders inscribed “FRANKLIN” above and “BULLDOGS” below in blue letters. The overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.

Origin/meaning

Blue and gold (yellow) are the school colors. The mascot is the bulldog. The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 24 January 1996.
