Escudo de prata, navio bacalhoeiro de azul vestido do mesmo, mastreado e encordoado de negro e realçado do campo, acompanhado em orla de uma grinalda de flores de vermelho, botoadas de ouro e folhas de verde. Coroa mural de prata de cinco torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “ GAFANHA DA NAZARÉ “.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 16, 2004.
The previous arms were identical, except for the crown, and were granted on September 8, 1992.
