Company

Gartmann was a chocolate factory, located in Altona (now Hamburg) in Germany. The company issued a large number of trade cards; 750 series of 6 cards each between 1901-1931. These cards could be collected in special albums. The series had a huge range of topics, but only two series have a heraldic item. The six cards show german guild arms (Zunftwappen) from all over the country.
