Selected collector's items from Germany:

GEHLBERG

State : Thüringen
District (Kreis) : Ilmkreis

Wappen von Gehlberg

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 14, 1992.

The yellow point in the arms is a canting element, the name can be translated as yellow mountain. The village developed when a glass factory was founded in 1645, which is symbolised by the glass in the upper left corner. The pine tree and the flower symbolise the forests around the village.
