Official blazon

Escudo de vermelho, gradeado de prata; brocante, coroa antiga de ouro com sua pedraria e, em ponta, um crescente de prata. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro “ GRADIL - MAFRA “.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 6, 1999.

Unfortunately I have no background information on these arms. Any information is welcome  !
