  • (fr) Tiercé en pairle renversé: au 1er d'or à la fasce ondée d'azur, au 2e d'azur à la tête de chien coupée d'or tenant un pain de tenné dans sa gueule, au 3e de gueules à la roue de charrue d'argent; au chevronnel d'argent brochant sur la partition.

Origin/meaning

The wavy bar refers to the local river. The dog's head is a symbol for St. Rochus, the local patron saint. The wheel is a canting element from the arms of the De la Roue family, former lords of the village (roue=wheel).
