(de) Geviert von Silber und Grün, Feld 1 und 4: ein schwarzer Bruchpfahl; Feld 2: ein goldener Ammonit; Feld 3: ein gezahntes goldenes Buchenblatt.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 12, 2010.

The arms are a combination of the two letters H for the municipal initials, the beech leaf from the old arms of Berhingen and an ammonite, for the fossil finds in the chalk mountains in the municipality.
