German heraldry:

Selected collector's items from Germany:

HASLACH

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Ortenaukreis (until 1973 Offenburg)
Incorporated into : 1971 Oberkirch

Wappen von Haslach (Oberkirch)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1907.

The old seal of the village already showed a shield with a star. The shield was crowned however. In 1907 the crown was removed and as colours those of Baden were chosen. The original meaning of the star is not known. Neither is it known when the seal was made or first used.
