Wapen van Heusden (Limburg)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 5, 1954.

The arms combine the two shields of the estate of Vogelzanck and the estate of Beringen, based on the arms of the city of Beringen, with the patron saint (St. Willebrordus) as supporter of the Vogelzanck arms. The municipality was created from the estate Vogelzanck and an estate owned by Beringen.

The Vogelzanck arms are those of the Bastenaken van Vogelzanck family, Lords of the estate in the 18th century.
