Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: A gold color metal and enamel insignia 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a gold eagle with wings displayed, holding a bundle of arrows above a blue enamel motto scroll inscribed “HONOR VALOR FIDELITY” in gold letters, partially encircling a gold escallop bearing a representation of the seal of the City of Tampa, Florida (a disc with a gold frigate on green enamel water against a light blue enamel sky; across the lower part a gold band inscribed “MASCOTTE” in blue enamel letters).

Origin/meaning

The shoulder loop insignia was approved 31 July 1975. Worn by all Hillsborough County High Schools.
