Shoulder Loop Insignia. Description: A Silver color metal and enamel device 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Gules a stag’s head couped above a wreath of laurel Argent. Attached below the shield a White scroll inscribed “MOTIVATED TO LEAD” in Silver letters.

Origin/meaning

Red and white (silver) are the school colors. The stag’s head denotes the cadets’ dedication to their community. The laurel wreath reflects their commitment to education and leadership goals. The shoulder Loop Insignia was approved on 7 November 1997.
