HOLLERICH

Incorporated into: 1920 Luxembourg (city)

Armoiries de Hollerich

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on November 20, 1914 to the city of Hollerich-Bonnevoie (which was part of the municipality).

The arms show the arms of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg surrounded by symbols of the local industries. The glove stands for glove making, for the large industry a crossed hammer and pliers, for the traditional industry a wheel and a pair of compasses, and for the importance of the railways a winged wheel.
