Van lazuur met drie spitsruiten van goud faasgewijs gerangschikt; schildhouders: twee leeuwen van goud, ieder een banier houdende, die van rechts volgens het schild, die van links van zilver met faas van keel, wat is Taets van Amerongen. Kroon van goud met drie paarlen geplaatst op den hoofdband.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on October 30, 1946.

The arms show three diamonds of the Loquet family. The family acquired the estate of Hombeek in 1671. In the late 17th and in the 18^th century the local seals showed the arms of the family. The council thus applied to continue the arms for the municipality.
