  • (sk) V zelenom štíte zlaté sklonené radlice - obrátené čerieslo a lemeš - prevýšené zvlnenou striebornou niťou a nad ňou zvlnenou striebornou latou.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 9, 1993.

The two agricultural tools are taken from the seals of the village. Three seals are known, the oldest can be found on documents from 1774-1784. It shows the two tools and a ear of wheat. The second seal, dating from the late 18th or early 19th century shows only the tools. The third seal shows the tools, but also wheat, grapes and two saints and dates from 1864. The saints are St. Philip and St. James. St. Philip is depicted with the attribute of the cross, St. James with a staff.

The wavy bar in chief refers to the Hron river an the small bar to the Perec canal in the municipality.
