JASTRZĘBIA

Province: Mazowsze
County: Radom

Arms (crest) of Jastrzębia

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The hawk is a canting element (Jastrząb) and also a reference to the tradition of trapping of hawks in the local forests. The oak refers to the Kozienicka forest. The blue field shield refers to the Virgin Mary as she is the patron saint of the two oldest parishes in the municipality.
