Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms of the village in the 18th century showed a bird in a cage (Käfig). In the early 20th century the above arms were designed. The arms show the local Kefikon castle, which was on the border between the Counties Kiburg and Thurgau. Both used red and gold as colours, hence the use of these colours in the new arms.
