Arms (crest) of King Edward VII School

Official blazon

(en) Shield: Per pale, (I), Vert, a fess between three Battery stamps or (representing the Arms of the City of Johannesburg) impaling (II), Argent, a lion rampant guardant Gules; on a chief of the last an open book of the first. Above and below the shield appear respectively a representation of a crown with immediately below the figure VII, and a gold scroll bearing the motto STRENUE in black lettering.

The arms were officially granted on July 1, 1959.
