Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on July 26, 2011.
The hammer and the anvil represent the name of the village and the traditions of the local blacksmiths, which had given the name of the place, and together with the motto symbolize the role of the human activities for their destiny.
The rice is a symbol of the diligence of the Kovachevo people, Or and Gules are showing the fire and the embers of the blacksmiths, Vert is hope, the harmony, and it is colour of Thrace.
