Origin/meaning
The arms were registered on April 12, 1994.
Kozel in Czech means a he-goat and thus is a canting element. The axe is a typical weapon of the Wallachs who lived in this region guarding the border with Hungary, while the piles are taken from the arms of the Archdiocese of Olomouc to whose estates Kozlovice belonged for several centuries.
