Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on August 4, 1997.
The arms of Kršan is adopted from the arms of the De Pisino family, who had the castle of Kršan as fief from the Patriarchs of Aquilea since the beginning of 14th century. The family became extinct in the 18th century.
