State : Steiermark
District : Graz-Umgebung

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on April 22, 1963.

The arms contain allusions to farming in the municipality and to an important road crossing the same (Weizer Strasse). The ram's head is taken from the arms of the Counts of Wimpffen, who bear an entire ram. The family owns the local castle of Kainberg.
